Positive Feedback
Overall the reviews for this boot are excellent. Almost everybody reported that the boots were great. People described them as being very comfortable and a lot lighter in weight than they expected. Many people said that the boots felt “soft” on the feet, were easy to break in and true to size.
One customer said he wears them around water all day and that his feet stay dry. He described them “as tough as nails”. Another customer who works in a hazardous environment with mud, rocks, wood scraps, screws and nails as well as glass also said these boots are very tough.
One woman who purchased the boots for her son wrote in that his legs and knees are not aching or tired anymore after long days of working at a warehouse. Finally, another customer who said he must stand for eight hours everyday on a concrete surface said that the boots were the best he’s every owned and worth every penny.
Negative Feedback
There were some customer complains about these boots. The biggest and most common complaint overall was that there seem to be issues with the sole coming apart after 2-4 months of use. Also, there people posted negative comments about he waterproofing not being up to par and the tred pattern not being good enough in snow and mud.
Final Recommendation
Overall, we like these boots and think it’s a good working boot. Almost all of the customers who reviewed the boot said that it’s comfortable, lightweight, rugged and reliable in a wide variety of for hard working conditions. However, we’re a bit apprehensive about recommending the shoe due to complaints regarding issues with quality of the soles. Thus, we’d suggest to check out other great boots such as the Keen Utility Detroit, Magnum Ultra Lite or Timberland PRO Pit Boss.
